The Chilean was appointed as the new manager to replace David Moyes at the London Stadium and has already set his sights on bringing a number of talented players to the Hammers with him.

The former Manchester City manager, who has previously won the Premier League, has already signed the likes of Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop, Ryan Fredericks, Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko.

There has been strong suggestions that he is also trying to bring SS Lazio’s Felipe Anderson to the Irons as well, and reports are now suggesting that they could also be in the market for another attacking player.

According to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, who was talking on the channel’s Transfer Talk podcast, the Hammers are interested in Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes and have lodged a bid for him as well.

However, he did also mention that it would either be the Portuguese playmaker or the Brazil international that would join arrive at the London Stadium this summer and not both.

“West Ham also have a record bid in with Sporting Lisbon for Bruno Fernandes as well. We are told they are considering a £25million offer,” he said on the Sky Sports podcast.

“At this stage, West Ham, as ambitious as they are this transfer window, will not buy both. It looks like it will be one or the other – Felipe Anderson or Bruno Fernandes.”
